October 22nd, 2011 Rapid Fire in the Woods

The boys went out to enjoy a lovely autumn day of rapid gunfire. Unfortunately my broken toe prevented me from joining in. Here is the lineup...

And the targets...

Scott and Aaron with their lovely shotguns.

While Spencer enjoys a bit of new age therapy with the AR.

Perhaps he should keep these pictures to share with his daughter's future suitors...

Robert playing with the Mossberg.

Richard joins in on the action.

Aaron's turn with the AR.

The aftermath: We bought several large zucchinis for $1 each at the Pumpkin Patch...they made great compostable targets.

And the spent shells...

And this is how we reformat hard drives...

Project 365: November 29th through December 5th

November 29th: The raspberry Palm is my old phone which is going bye bye and say hello to my new purple blackberry.

November 30th: I realized while looking at the side of my fridge that people may get a tad confused since our only two magnets are for my volunteer job at the hotline and the other is from where Patrick gets a lot of his reloading supplies called Stag Arms...

December 1st: Ringing in the month with an emergency visit to an optometrist for chemical burns on my eyes.

December 2nd: The Christmas lights are on at my Max stop.

December 3rd: I keep receiving piles of thank you and rewards stuff at work for all my volunteer hours.

December 4th: Patrick got the exterior lights done. I still love our wreath. I made it a long time ago when I first moved back to Portland while my mom and I were hanging out.

December 5th: I made coconut almond cookies for my neighborhood association meeting which is Monday night. I messed with a recipe I found and created these which are quite tasty

Project 365: November 15th through November 21st

November 15th: My friend Jenna brought me a beautiful butterfly which now has a happy spot on my desk at work.

November 16th: Cherry Pie! Jenna's amazing mom made us pie! The crust was some of the best I have ever had

November 17th: I bought clearance leaves at Micheal's and stored them in our chiller which Macha discovered made the perfect kitty bed. She looked so happy and really whined when relocated.

November 18th: I found a celebrity while out grocery shopping again.

November 19th: Since getting off sugar and most carbs I have had one solid craving of "dear God, bring them to me" which is for Circus Animal Cookies and I swear they put crack in the frosting...last night I saw they have Christmas ones...you bastards....

November 20th: Jason and Henry experience some Pump Action togetherness at Grant's Birthday party at the Rialto.

November 20th: Me and Henry have a drink and get to know each other better...he is a complex Gnome.

November 21st: We chose Sunday, out of all days to drive out to the Tillamook National Forest for some shooting with a large group of friends.

November 21st: Driving and you can see the forest through the trees!

November 21st: It was a truly lovely drive.
