Project 365: April 2nd through April 8th

April 2nd: Dinner at Richard's and we brought this lemon butter cake for desert which Patrick made. We also brought over some of my homemade lemon curd which I can to go with it.

April 3rd: Drinks and dancing at Mummy's Restaurant downtown - well, we were actually watching several bellydancers, including Sean's sweet lady Bridie.

Bridie dancing at Mummy's Restaurant.

Decorations at Mummy's Restaurant.

Dinner at Le Happy with Jen and Patrick. This was amazing - I got the coconut cream with toasted coconut crepe. I also had them add bananas and chocolate.

April 4th: Dinner with Jen and Patrick at Mio...salmon, tuna and yellowtail nigiri; double crunch roll; alaska roll with real crab; dragon roll; and sunset roll. Plate of nom!

April 5th: Work bathroom...the ladies have this sweet (and VERY handy) group of things which are handy - hairspray, spray deodorant, moisturizer, flossing picks etc...just using a bathroom 2000+ other people are not using is pleasing enough.

April 6th: Getting a massage on a sunny afternoon. I love the space of this gal...

April 7th: Late night at the B Side with Vincent, Mindy and Sean...this is the girl's room.

April 8th: All in a day! Got a pile of clearance sweaters and tank tops at Old Navy plus a pile from Ulta using my 20% off: Stila One Step Correct, Korres Wild Rose Moisturizer, Korres Pomegranate Deep Cleansing Exfoliant, Sebastian Potion #9 Smoothstepper, Urban DecayPrimer potion, OPI nail polish in Gouda Gouda Two Shoes, Rimmel nail polish in English Rose, Rimmel base & top coat and shimmery rose lip pencil by NYX Cosmetics.

Project 365: March 26th through April 1st

March 26th: One of my walls at work which contains some of my favorite work - the small card of The Summit ala Michael Parkes and Almond Blossom by Van Gogh. I adore Van Gogh and have two prints of his in my home. I love his floral drawings with blues and greens though my favorite is still Crows over the Wheatfields.

March 27th: My lonely little MG waiting for me to drive it home after everyone else has long gone home. I must say though I still feel so much safer working where I do now since the area has such a non existent crime rate.

March 28th: My sweet Heidi found this gorgeous print for me! I love it's title, "Renewal" always as much as the piece.

March 29th: Just another awesome day at work getting spoiled rotten with our own barista being brought in serving us coffee, hot cocoa, orange juice and Italian sodas - as many of whatever as we wanted...nice start of the day indeed.

March 30th: Koi Fushion came out (again thank you to our boss) to make us all whatever we wanted for lunch and this was on their cart: "Do Not Serve"...ummmm.....

Me and one of my nearest and dearest Wendy - we laughed hysterically when discovering we were going with matching outfits. We picked up Sean and he was also in black and red as well. I always loved this dress and was grateful it fit again. Korina specially ordered it for me and went postal on people during phone calls to get my dress in time for the event I was attending...I always get so many compliments on it.

March 31st: Lan Su Chinese Garden's plant sale with Krisha.

April 1st: On our 12 year anniversary we drove to Salem to visit Patrick's mom (well my mom too :)). This is her BFF Liam who is a big love bug...I mean just look at that sweet face.

Project 365: July 25th through July 31st

July 25th: Work amusement... So, when Patrick and I were out camping I found my finishing nail hammer (that was my mom's) in our tent bag and was annoyed because I have seriously been looking for it forever (it is a handy little thing). I put it in my bag to put away but it is small so I forgot about it until I got to work and found it realizing how funny it would be if someone came across my purse and looking through the contents found a finishing hammer and gardening magazines...

July 26th: And I finished digging down five inches of dirt to make my walkway after dark but I FINISHED IT!

July 27th: The long walk home... Today was the first day in ten years I not longer have a desk in my office building since I officially went on non working notice at noon. Walking home I waited for a train to pass me by.

July 27th: I came home and started working on the walkway. I dug out the gravel and dirt mix from behind our garage and moved about 3 inches of it per section before placing the flag stones in.

July 27th: My friend Jenna dropped by to say hi and hangout for a few being the first official person to walk on our new walkway!

July 28th: Edge of Night Calle Lilys at the Farmington Gardens. I had a wonderful afternoon with my friend Beth hanging out and plant shopping for our houses. She always was one of my favorite shopping buddies. We laughed about shopping for Guess jeans for $80 when we were in the 3rd grade together and now we buy $80 in plants for our homes...

July 28th: Dinner! We met our awesome friends Melissa and Mathias at Benihana for wonderful food. Our chef was hysterical!

July 29th: Lunch! Ms Jen abducted me for some sushi lunch at our favorite new sushi place which rules not just because the awesome Meghan works there.

July 29th: Ebelskivers rock! Patrick made me and Richard Ebelskiver style strawberry shortcake for desert after an amazing dinner. Ebelskivers are this Norse pancake that is a little ball of heaven.

July 30th: The face of OCD - this was taken before starting the dishwasher and what the dishwasher typically looks like when I am the only person filling it...we have an entire set of square white porcelain and an entire set of round white porcelain dishes btw and yes, the round only are on the left and the square only are on the right...and yes, I just automatically do this without really thinking about it.

July 30th: The path...all done to start the day. I actually finished the night before thanks to Richard and Patrick but it was too dark to get clear photos so I took this picture the morning of July 30th instead.

July 31st: And this was taken July 31st in the morning though I finished at 10pm July 30th. All the ground cover is now in with top soil.

Project 365: July 11th through July 17th

July 11th: Post Central Beaverton NAC (Neighborhood Association Committee) meeting - got my new shirt! Also found out a bunch of info about upcoming events throughout Beaverton.

July 12th: Patrick made cherry cobbler from our cherry trees.

July 12th: Patrick also made an amazing blueberry pie a few nights before.

July 13th: RAIN! I nearly drowned on my commute home.

July 14th: I found a great deal on flagstone at Lowe's.

July 15th: I discovered I really damaged my leg but good the day prior at Lowe's while loading up the flagstone. I hit my leg against a jagged piece and now, several more days later it is black and blue and very dark.

July 16th: New friends! Upfront we have Francesca a Golden Comet and behind is Ginger who is a New Hampshire Red.

July 17th: Lazy afternoon though I did manage to get the dishes done.

Project 365: June 27th through July 3rd

June 27th: Technology...our shiny black laptop collection is shiny once again after I stayed up to clean the house spotless...

June 28th: My gorgeous garden photo of the week. I honestly stare at my yard these days in awe because everything looks so beautiful.

June 29th: Dinner at Abby's Table with my friend Chrystina Anderson - everything was seriously beyond amazing.

June 30th: A funny thing happened at the office - so this stupid ice machine in our break room has been broken for over a month...they have rebuilt it and supposedly repaired it countless times. At this point we suspect they just gave up since it would work for like a day then be broke again. So, our boss taped up a poem to it....

July 1st: Dinner and drinks with Melissa and Beth at Urban Fondue for a girls evening. I so love these women and am proud to have been friends with Beth since the 3rd grade and Melissa since the 7th grade.

July 2nd: Thanks to my awesome husband, Ikea (lanterns) and Home Depot (chain) we now have hanging lanterns for our outside table which look super cute.

July 3rd: Delphiniums...I was so happy this beauty not only came back but is taking over its section of my part shade garden.

Project 365: May 9th through May 15th

May 9th: Our new tulip bulbs are coming up in black and pink and the gardens are greening up for the summer.

May 10th: Desk scene...this is my envelope ninja, defender of the free world! And my Crackberry charging for the next invasion.

May 11th: Lets play a game of "What's on my lap today during my Max ride to work". Here we have my purse, water bottle, book and book mark which has a favorite quote thanks to Voltaire: "Paradise is where I am."

May 12th: My wall at work day 1...well, a section of it with a photo from our wedding of our wedding party which has some of my favorite people: Melissa, Jenna, my sister Mary, Nicki, my husband, Rob, John, Spencer and Robert. Then two postcards - one is from Dias de los Muertos in Mexico sent to us my Scott and Jen and the other is a favorite painting of Michael Parks which I would certainly have the larger version of hanging in my house if I had the wall space, which I don't. And last is a photo of me and my sister Mary from my wedding.

May 13th: My 10 years of service award hanging now at my desk under the photo from Darcelle's of me with Trav, Melissa, Margo, Marla, Ben, Lacey, Kelly and a pile of other awesome women!

May 14th: My new business cards arrived and I think they turned out pretty cute!

May 15th: Chive bloom! I swear everything stays so down for so long and then I blink and everything in my yard is in full bloom. It is just crazy!
