Project 365: June 11th through June 17th

June 11th: First day with the new top down at work! June 12th: About to jump on the table to spend an hour with one of my amazing massage therapists. Having dinner at Koji Lloyd Center with Ms Katy during her brief visit to the NW. And you can see my car parked out the window. June 13th: Having lunch at Hayden's Lakefront Grill. They have a pond outside with ducks and such. They finally updated the name at the hotline...I like our new logo as well. June 14th: I finally got around to remembering to add a picture of the new sword arrangement I did in the family room since I brought Patrick and my matching katanas in from storage. We have fully matching samurai outfits only my sword has dragonfly charms on it while Patrick's has dragons and Japanese woodcut waves. June 15th: This is what $9 from Sushi Land Bridgeport Village looks like - salmon, yellowtail, veggie roll and a yellowtail roll....YUM! June 16th: BEST MIMOSA BAR EVER! Lauriel made all these homemade syrups, purees and bitters for Brandy's graduation party...shown is the lady of honor adding finishing touches... And these was on sweet Lauriel and Edward's amazing back deck. June 17th: PRIDE! I had a great time spending the afternoon at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's booth handing out beads to folks to memorialize their lost friends and loved ones. I met some of the most amazing people and even got free hugs. What a great day! Lovely dinner with Patrick at the Chart House in the hills overlooking Portland.

Project 365 - May 7th through May 13th

May 7th - Ahhh another day and another trip to Home Depot though who could predict their tree and rose prices would be too good to resist??!! Seriously - $25 dwarf honeycrisp trees and Don Juan rose buses for $8. Though I also needed concrete, wood stain, rocks, ground cover....
May 8th - Going through the helpful information given to us at our neighborhood association meeting by the Beaverton police department to keeps our neighborhoods and homes safer.
May 9th - Running errands in Tigard at lunch I see this amusing sign. Is it hitting on me?
May 10th - Pedis and dinner with my almost birthday sister.— with Jessica Blasch.
May 11th - In an attempt to rekey my car I discover yet another thing my former mechanic did wrong - now to identify what ignition he replaced mine with....
May 12th - The front yard is blooming!
May 12th - These stunning iris were found hiding under a pine tree in Belladonna Atropa's backyard.
May 13th - Me and Wendy attended Dangerous Liaisons at the Venetian Theater in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Project 365: March 12th through March 18th

March 12th: Dinner at Richard Keck's and he made us tasty appetizers too!

March 13th: Flower delivery one from the first day at my new job thanks to Melissa and Mathias. Beautiful African violets.

March 14th: My poor car woke up with snow on it...

March 15th: The second round of flower deliveries to my desk to start my first work week off from Patrick.

March 16th: Jello shots with the girls for Beth's birthday thanks to Ms Amber - also joining in the shot round was Heather & Tracy.

March 17th: Two of my favorite Irishmen...my husband and my BFF from college who is one hell of a tattoo artist, bartender (this bar is Del's creation in their home btw - site of an evening filled with Irish carbombs), and is hysterical when plowed. We happily drove to Yacolt to visit some of our favorite people to celebrate Del and Patti's birthdays.

March 18th: I spent the day weeding even through a rain storm and three hail storms. I did get a large amount of the front yard finished though so if you look to the far right of the photo I was able to get the weeding done all the way past the little stone path to the faucet.

Project 365: August 29th through September 4th

August 29th: Wine and red... I brought my dear friend Lisa Marie takeout so we could catch up in between her filling custom corset orders galore. I love her apartment - it is such a calming space.

August 30th: Picking up my car from its new mechanic. Note the ninja who has been baking in the sun for five years so his paint was completely sun bleached. This was a gift from my dear friend Jenna to my car a great number of years ago.

August 31st: Breakfast with Jen and Pete: Custard style French toast with powdered sugar and hazelnuts; cream cheese, spinach and tomato eggs; bacon and juice.

September 1st: Repainting the Rostyle wheels on my MG Midget which had become rather rust laden after a five year sit. Here is the before...

I might mention I did this freehand. And after...

September 2nd: Honey beige was the color of the day...and what a beautiful color it was! Helping Michele and Greg paint their new living room and family room the day before their big move into their new home

September 3rd: A wonderful lunch at Sinju in Bridgeport Village with Jen, Marissa, Jen's mom and Jen's aunt. Note the giant ball of wasabi.

September 4th: My poor little ninja has been painted fresh and will be returned to hang from my rear view mirror in my MG. Isn't he cute :) Since he was a gift to my car from Jenna it is only appropriate she was the first to ride in Bernie.

September 4th: My beautiful sunflowers which were a gift from my husband to celebrate our second wedding anniversary.

Project 365: January 10th through January 16th

January 10th: Dinner at Monteaux's Public House.

January 11th: Dinner at Lupe's Escape

January 12th: An awesome van that was in the parking lot at the hotline.

January 13th: I am working slowing through this book.

January 14th: Working on putting Christmas away for the year an ornament at a time. This is one layer of unique ornaments different friends have given us. The pirate flag, devil head and taco were from Grant and Shannon. The Dias de los Muertos ornaments are from Rob and John. The pirate ship and prism are ornaments I bought Patrick and the bat was one I bought myself. The pirate nutcracker Jen gave to Patrick this year for Christmas and the seashell was from Patrick's aunt and uncle's trip to Hawaii.

January 15th: Oni showing off why she is such a pudgy kitty.

January 16th: Yuki and Macha who were curious about the brocade duct tape Jen gave me which rules.
