Project 365: May 14th through May 20th

May 14th: Patrick finished our gorgeous new gate!

May 15th: This is the long hall at work which separates our two offices - one which holds the underwriting staff plus our doc department. The other side our a huge pile of loan officers and IT folks.

May 16th: What a gorgeous ass! Thanks to my amazing mechanic my car has a new top and looks even prettier!

May 17th: Iris...in dark purple.

May 18th: Marrakesh for Jennifer's birthday before heading off to Voicebox Karaoke.

May 19th: Sushi dinner with Wendy, Danelle, Erynn and Amber Rose.

May 20th: The pile...to start the next projects...

Project 365: January 9th through January 15th

January 9th: The bestest Christmas gift/card was from our sweet neighbor's kitty...


January 10th: At Baby Ketten karaoke with Brant, Amber Rose, Wendy and Caroline at Mississippi Pizza Pub


January 11th: Dinner of roasted chicken, sauteed asparagus and salad with shrimp and yogurt Caesar Parmesan dressing.


January 12th: Our awesome friends Jason and Kelly always send us awesome gifts...this time they sent a pack of Christmas cat nip toys which the kitties, clearly, like.


January 13th: New spring plants added to the coffee table to perk up the house.


January 14th: The amaryllis bloomed again but it was so heavy it broke so, in a vase it went. But it looks lovely with my new pink hyacinth which just started blooming.


January 15th: Ummm...wow... I ran to Home Goods to get some candles and found this "bookend" which was labeled "genuine horn"...lol...just wow....

Project 365: August 22nd through August 28th

August 22nd: Crafting space organization...


August 23rd: Making blackberry jam with an insane amount of berries that Emily and I picked for the weekend.

August 25th: Karaoke with Ms Heidi and Ms Kyle at the Woods.


August 26th: Clear Lake in the Mt Hood Forest - camping with Patrick, Erynn, Wendy, Jason and Noel for the weekend.


August 27th: Camping with Patrick, Wendy, Erynn, Jason and Noel - my potatoes, onions, red bell pepper and garlic with olive oil simmering in aluminum foil against the fire.


August 28th: The girls are getting so big! Here is Bernadette with Ginger and Francesca.

Project 365: August 1st through August 7th

August 1st: Bacon Turkey Bravo at Panera


Going away party for Amber Rose at the Kir Wine Bar. This is an awesome mural on the outside of the building.


This orange blossom and tres leches cake were just amazing.

August 2nd: Seeing the play Is He Dead Yet? by Mark Twain at the Evelyn Shiffler Memorial Park right behind my house.


August 3rd: Late night karaoke at Mississippi Pizza with Jenna, Heidi and Michael/Barbara.


August 4th: Another day, another fence section...


August 5th: And we are still working steadily on the new walkway and garden.


August 6th: Macha helping me decorate for the Arabian Nights party...as you can see she is VERY helpful.


Arabian Nights party...Jen made humus, petit fours, bastillas and we also had piles of berries, fruits, some cheese, crackers and veggies.


August 7th: My birthday present to Jen was this stunning print I have been holding since our trip to LA...she loved it and the blood soaked card I gave her with it since I cannot even seem to wrap a present without slicing myself open!

Project 365: January 31st through February 6th

January 31st: Slaughterhouse Karaoke at the Lovecraft hosted by Sean and TJ. This is the ceiling of The Lovecraft because the bar is that level of awesome.


February 1st: Macha REALLY likes the ironing board, like on an epic level. It makes ironing....difficult....


February 2nd: A night at the hotline which has mood lighting. I so love these chairs. One of the swanky rich folks who donate a lot to the lines etc apparently decided she did not dig her brand new lounge chairs so she donated them to the hotline because they go rather nicely with the new digs


February 3rd: My husband is an awesome cook: grilled pork steaks, grilled asparagus and a fully loaded with veggie salad and vinaigrette.


February 4th: The theme of my night - I was supposed to do a police ride along but my paperwork was messed up by one of the daytime desk sargents plus they had a lot of sick cops stay home...so I am rescheduled for the 11th instead.


February 5th: Dinner and seeing Atomic Tom at the Doug Fir with Ms Diane. Amazing dinner followed by an epic show - seriously, perfect night!


February 5th: My two extra add in photos which are self portraits, of sorts for February. With Project 365 they recommend you include self portraits each month to see how you have changed through the year etc. I also try to include one photo of my hand or hands as well as my own personal "goal".




February 6th: A gift from Richard - this is a drinking set he got in turkey made almost entirely with stone. The set is so beautiful and looks great on display by our bar.

Maryoke!

I keep forgetting to share these so it is about time! I have three photos borrowed from a very talented photographer to Portland Dan Ostergren. One of the best people I know (and whom I am honored to refer to as one of my closest friends) Ms Heidi and I spent our week off together hitting up a whole slew of karaoke each night. Our final evening was spent at Hamburger Mary's.
